Privacy Notice
Last updated: June 13, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Notice describes how Lechwenyo Family Group ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Axity AI, collects and uses your personal data. We act as the data controller for the personal data you provide to us through the Axity service.
2. Personal data we collect
- Account data — name, email address, login credentials, profile picture.
- Content you submit — chat messages, prompts, uploaded images and files, generated outputs, saved memories.
- Usage & telemetry — pages visited, features used, model selections, error reports, approximate request counts.
- Device & technical data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, language and time-zone settings.
- Support communications — messages you send to support, and our replies.
- Payment-related data — collected and processed directly by Paddle (our Merchant of Record). We receive a limited summary (plan, status, billing period, customer ID) — not full card details.
3. Why we use it (purposes & legal bases)
- Provide the service (account creation, processing prompts, returning AI outputs) — performance of contract.
- Billing and subscription management — performance of contract and legal obligation.
- Security & fraud prevention — legitimate interests in protecting our service and users.
- Improving the service (debugging, analytics on aggregate usage) — legitimate interests.
- Customer support — performance of contract and legitimate interests.
- Marketing communications (when applicable) — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Legal compliance — when required by law.
4. How AI inputs and outputs are handled
Prompts and uploads you submit are sent to AI model providers solely to generate a response and to operate the service. We do not sell your content. We do not use your prompts to train foundation models. Generated outputs are stored to your account so you can revisit them; you can delete chats from the app at any time.
5. Who we share data with
- Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, email, analytics, error monitoring, and AI model providers, acting under our instructions.
- Merchant of Record — Paddle: we share information necessary for Paddle to sell and deliver the service on our behalf, manage your subscription, process payments, calculate tax, issue invoices, and handle refunds and chargebacks. Paddle is an independent controller for that processing — see Paddle's privacy policy.
- Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and similar advisers under duties of confidentiality.
- Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose data.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers may be located outside your country, including in the United States and the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions) where required by applicable law.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. You can delete your account at any time; payment records held by Paddle are retained per Paddle's policies and applicable tax law.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access your personal data, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to its processing, withdraw consent (without affecting prior processing), and ask for a copy in a portable format. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review of our practices. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.
10. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We may use limited analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. You can manage cookies in your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent the service from working.
11. Children
Axity is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email.
13. Contact
For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact Lechwenyo Family Group through the in-app support flow or the contact channel listed on our website.
